Broadcast on Channel 4's Random Acts. A black and white, kaleidoscopic, multi-layered, hyper-kinetic typographical poem. Using the letters of the word APOCALYPSE, each line explores different areas of our lives that have been eroded by recent events. The film suggests that a quiet 'apocalypse' has already occurred.
A sinister fairy tale set in another England. An evil sect has taken power, forbidding free thinking and beauty. The only hope of salvation lies with the poets. Their words, like rays of light and colour, save souls and awaken minds amid the horrors that unfurl.

Part of the first year of Animate commissions (winner of best B/W cinematography Cork FF 1993) Spirit of Place takes the camera to
the animation, a 10 minute single shot observes the waking of a room's memory; coerced into life by moonlight and unlocking a message for the viewer.
Animation based on the poem by Nicholas Breton (c1600). Music: Chopin.
Amore Baciami, St. Martins School of Art graduation film 1988. Part of the film was later used as a commercial for the Royal Mail celebrating Valentine's Day. This commercial went on to win a Gold Lion at Cannes, A Gold Arrow at the British Advertising awards, The Epica d'Or and a Silver D&AD Pencil.
